Dethek Stone Font

Dethek Stone, designed by Neale Davidson in 2011, is a free runic display font with broad, dark symbols and a chipped stone-cut finish. Its alphabet combines blunt wedges, uneven edges, sharp cuts, and abrupt breaks that resemble carved marks weathered by age.

Game graphics are its most convincing medium, especially for fantasy maps, faction emblems, and title screens rooted in dungeon adventure. Metal merchandise and historical-themed event posters also suit the compact, forceful silhouettes. Fantasy and tabletop audiences are the clearest fit. In entertainment branding or themed packaging, the rune-like letters can become an identifying mark rather than ordinary copy.

This typeface is based on the dwarven script from Wizards of the Coast’s “Forgotten Realms” setting. It includes all canonical glyphs.
