DEVANEW.TTF

Author's note

Devanagari New by Berkeley Fonts is a free Devanagari-style display font with an unusually broad, forceful silhouette. Heavy horizontal bars hold together rounded, irregular forms, and changing stroke widths give the lettering the lively tension of hand-painted signage.

Its South Asian script character is especially suited to cultural festival posters, album packaging, restaurant branding, and museum exhibition graphics focused on regional arts. The dense, connected shapes can become part of an illustrated border or emblem, linking those uses through the look of painted public lettering.
