Devonshire by Astigmatic is a free calligraphic script with broad, lively strokes and a distinctly informal flourish. Its letters rise and dip with exaggerated loops, sharp turns, and changing stroke widths. The result feels quick and spirited.
Its theatrical, sign-painted character suits music posters and lively event graphics. Sweeping capitals and compact joins can also lend local restaurant branding and small-batch drink packaging the warmth of lettering made for a storefront window. Across those settings, the recurring loops become part of the decorative image rather than simply spelling a name.
