Author's note

DF Li Shu 1B, from DynaLab Inc., is a free Chinese clerical-style font with the broad, brushed rhythm of traditional Li Shu lettering. The strokes feel hand-led and slightly uneven, with long horizontal sweeps, tapered turns, and a calm, ceremonial weight that keeps the letters looking formal without going stiff.

It fits projects that want a rooted East Asian tone, such as cultural posters, book covers, restaurant branding, exhibition titles, and title cards. As a free font, it also suits short headings, mastheads, and monogram-like marks where those wide brush endings and steady verticals can carry the whole composition.
