Author's note
Different College by Woodcutter Manero is a free old-school varsity display font with the chunky, jacket-letter swagger of classic campus lettering. The caps are built from heavy block shapes with squared serifs and a stepped inline treatment that gives each letter a framed, patch-like look rather than a plain slab.
It fits posters for sports events, retro apparel graphics, team branding, bar signs, and bold cover lines where that collegiate tone does the work fast. As a free font, it also suits title cards, monograms, and short headlines, because the letters feel compact, emphatic, and made to sit front and center.
