Digital Surf, designed by Randy Ford, is a free groovy display font with the broad, slanted forms of late-1960s and 1970s lettering. Its heavy curves flow into pinched joins and pointed stroke endings, giving the letters a soft, rolling silhouette with a distinctly hand-drawn warmth.
A record sleeve is an especially convincing setting for this retro style, and the same sweeping forms suit music posters, festival graphics, and fashion packaging built around psychedelic or vintage imagery. Album artwork remains its clearest and most natural role.
