Author's note

Dingaling by Stan Frantz of deFaced fonts is a free whimsical calligraphy font with exaggerated, hand-drawn forms. Its sharply changing stroke widths, tilted letters, and loose curves create a lively silhouette, with rounded ink-like ends that make the writing look mischievous rather than formal.

The storybook quality makes it a convincing choice for children's publishing, comedy posters, and playful event graphics, especially when the lettering needs to feel part of the entertainment. On confectionery packaging or illustrated merchandise, the looping shapes can echo curling ribbons, doodled characters, and other fluid artwork, so the words become part of the same full graphic scene.
