Author's note

Display Gothic K by Wolf Lambert is a free digital display font based on lldaddy's i-Ching. Its letters stretch through stacked horizontal bands, punctured by neat square openings that recall punched tape and early machine-readable media.

A retro-computing poster is its clearest setting, since the perforated pattern can double as both lettering and technical texture. The same coded appearance suits electronic music packaging and arcade graphics. Museum displays and editorial features about communications technology offer a quieter second use, letting the repeated holes echo diagrams, data strips, or mechanical illustrations.
