Author's note

Disposable Droid by Nate Piekos is a free pixel font with chunky, grid-built letters and the blunt geometry of an early computer display. Square corners, stepped joins, and small rectangular cutouts keep the forms mechanical, yet varied widths stop the line from looking like a rigid monospaced face.

It is strongest in game title screens, interface graphics, and arcade-themed posters, where its low-resolution construction immediately establishes a digital setting. The same blocky shapes also fit technology merchandise and electronic music artwork, linking both applications to retro hardware and homemade screen graphics.
