Dispute, designed by John of Bionic Type, is a free psychedelic display font built from swollen, tightly packed rounded letterforms. Deep, winding cutouts repeatedly split the broad strokes into soft lobes, with lively changes in width and a liquid, offbeat look rooted in 1970s poster art.
The lettering almost becomes a rubbery illustration itself. Its puddle-like shapes can echo gooey mascots or abstract blobs across music posters, album covers, and candy packaging. Those same playful contours connect merchandise and youth event graphics through a shared world of surreal cartoon imagery.
