Author's note

Djoewana is a free ornamental art dingbat font filled with symmetrical crests, curling flourishes, and compact decorative silhouettes. The collection shifts between dense, lace-like emblems and broader shapes with smooth, sweeping edges, yet repeated mirrored construction gives the symbols a related look.

Packaging is a convincing medium for these motifs, particularly on labels for gifts, specialty foods, or handcrafted goods. They can also furnish chapter ornaments in publishing and decorative marks for event stationery. Their strong symmetry lets each symbol function like a small illustrated badge, linking borders, patterns, and other ornamental artwork.
