Author's note

DK Clair De Lune by David Kerkhoff is a free old-school comic display font with tall, narrow letters and an eccentric theatrical air. Fine hairlines shift into broad black strokes, and curled flourishes appear at the ends of several forms.

A vintage theater poster is its most convincing setting. The same exaggerated proportions suit album packaging, fashion editorial pages, and event invitations, where the curling details can echo decorative borders, stage curtains, or ornamental illustration.
