Author's note

DK Crayonista by David Kerkhoff is a free handwritten font with tall, loosely drawn letters, uneven proportions, and the dry, broken texture of a worn crayon. The broken edges make every stroke look lightly scratched.

Packaging is a convincing medium for this rough lettering, especially for craft foods and children's art supplies, where the grain can echo printed paper and informal illustration. It also suits handmade stationery, classroom posters, and activity books aimed at children, teachers, and families who respond to lettering that looks directly drawn in crayon rather than typeset.
