Author's note

DKKusukusu by David Kerkhoff is a free handwritten font with tall, loosely drawn letters and a quick signature-like pace. Uneven heights and long looping strokes keep the line lively.

Packaging is an especially good setting for its personal, slightly unruly lettering, particularly on craft foods, coffee labels, and small-batch goods. It also suits music posters and fashion merchandise, where the narrow forms can supply an informal hand-marked title. The recurring loops and extended strokes can echo sketched illustrations or loose decorative lines, helping the lettering become part of the artwork rather than a separate caption on the page.
