Author's note

DK Porcupine Pickle by David Kerkhoff is a free handwritten font with tall, loose letters and a cheerfully uneven line. Its rounded strokes shift gently in width, and the irregular heights keep the lettering lively. Narrow forms mingle with broad curves, giving the alphabet the look of quick marker writing.

It is especially suited to playful food packaging, where the informal shapes can make a product name feel personal. Children's event posters and casual cafe branding also suit its bouncy pace. The lettering can echo doodled illustrations on menus and activity books.
