Author's note

Dominique by Denise Bentulan is a free monoline handwritten font with loose, rounded strokes and a wobbling felt-tip line. Its letters rise and dip along an uneven baseline, with open joins and broad loops that look quickly drawn. The forms are soft and unpolished.

It is especially suited to children's branding, where its simple curves can shape a cheerful wordmark without looking overly tidy. The same hand-drawn quality fits snack packaging and craft posters, and its looping shapes echo doodled figures or playful line illustrations.
