Dottatella, created by Emily Scheffler of FontStruct, is a free geometric display font with rounded, modular letters and a playful machine-made finish. Thick vertical strokes, squared curves, ball-like tips, and small dotted cutouts give the forms the look of punched plastic parts or a toy control panel.
Its mix of soft shapes and mechanical details suits children's game graphics as readily as electronic music posters, with packaging and merchandise offering two more convincing settings. The repeated dots can echo indicator lights, rivets, or simple circuit patterns in surrounding illustrations.
