Author's note

Double Feature font by Coda Gardner is a free bold scary display font. Built with thick, inky silhouettes and long, sagging drips, it oozes classic midnight-movie energy-think grindhouse title cards and sticky theater floors. The blobby edges and uneven skyline create a wet, viscous rhythm that grabs attention at a glance and refuses to let go.

Using Double Feature, headlines scream on Halloween posters, haunted house flyers, retro horror movie titles, spooky game logos, YouTube thumbnails, and party invites. This free font thrives at large sizes; give it a touch of extra tracking to keep the goo readable. For balance, pair it with a thin, neutral sans for body copy to let the drips take center stage.
