Author's note

Douglas Font 1, designed by Derek Douglas of FontStruct, is a free digital outline display font built from evenly spaced circular dots. Its broad geometric letters resemble segmented electronic signage, with squared curves and sharply cut inner corners. The repeated bead-like construction is the main attraction.

Electronic display styling makes it a natural fit for arcade game graphics, technology event posters, and music packaging with a retro-futurist direction. On merchandise and digital graphics, the dotted contours can echo indicator lights, circuit nodes, or marquee bulbs, turning the lettering into part of the wider graphic theme.
