Dracool, designed by Kenneth Cookson of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free modern Gothic display font with a severe, theatrical silhouette. Its narrow capitals use broad vertical strokes, blade-thin inner lines, and pointed cuts that resemble carved spearheads. The contrast is stark and disciplined.
A horror film poster is its clearest setting, with the tall blackletter forms also suiting occult book covers, metal album artwork, and Halloween event graphics. Its strongest role is an elegant vampire title rather than rough medieval lettering.
