DragonBird by i2f is a free Japanese-inspired display font built from thick, sharply cut strokes. The uneven angles, blunt joins, and compact silhouettes give the letters the forceful look of hand-painted shop signs or action graphics.
Packaging is an especially good fit, since the blocky forms can turn snack labels and game merchandise into part of a lively illustrated theme. Posters and event graphics also suit its punchy construction, particularly for martial arts, arcade, or comic-influenced subjects.
