Dragonbones Bold by Nate Piekos is a free horror display font with broad, hand-cut capitals and an unruly painted stroke. Its swollen curves, blunt points, and uneven edges give the lettering a comic-book menace rather than polished gothic formality, and the stroke widths change visibly and abruptly.
That pulp-horror style suits monster-movie posters and game packaging, especially when the artwork leans toward creatures, mutations, or dark comedy. It can also lend merchandise and Halloween event graphics the look of a hastily brushed warning sign. Poster lettering is its clearest role.
