Author's note
DS Ayaks by Dubina Nikolay is a free blocky slab serif display font with a stark, mechanical build. Broad rectangular serifs lock into upright strokes, and the letters are assembled from hard horizontal and vertical forms. Curves are almost entirely absent.
Signage is its most convincing medium, since the rigid silhouettes resemble cut metal plates or industrial markings. The same severe construction can support music posters, game graphics, and merchandise built around machinery, factories, or brutalist themes. In those settings, the lettering can become part of an illustrated structure, reading like beams, brackets, or pieces of an engineered emblem.
