Author's note

DS Izmir, designed by Dubina Nikolay of Moscow's D-Studio, is a free Bangla display font with dramatic calligraphic strokes. A firm horizontal headline binds the letters. Broad curves and pointed flourishes form a lively, hand-drawn silhouette.

It can turn a title into an ornamental emblem rather than neutral lettering. The sweeping shapes suit cultural event posters, music artwork, and festive packaging. In each setting, the recurring curves and leaf-like tips connect type with decorative illustration.
