Author's note

DS Zombie Cyr, Patrick Broderick's free horror-brush font, leans hard into a 90s zombie-poster mood. The caps look hacked out with a dry, ragged stroke, with torn edges, sudden spikes, and swollen silhouettes that make the letters feel bitten, smeared, and slightly unstable.

That rough energy fits Halloween flyers, B-movie posters, game title cards, band merch, and haunted-house branding, where the letters can do some of the scene-setting on their own. As a free font, it also works well for short cover lines and monograms, since the chunky shapes and shredded brush texture keep even a few characters feeling loud and cinematic.
