Author's note

Dungeon, a free medieval Gothic font by Novandito, leans into a late-medieval manuscript mood with broad, swelling strokes and sharp, hooked turns. The letters feel carved and calligraphic at once, with rounded arches set against pointed exits and a tall, dramatic rhythm that gives the font a sober, old-world pull.

It fits naturally in fantasy book covers, game title cards, tavern signage, event posters, and chapter openers where that historic tone matters more than neutrality. As a free font, Dungeon also works well for short headlines, monograms, and logo-style wordmarks, because its curling joins and deep descenders give even a few letters a strong period character.
