Author's note

Durden ExtraBold, designed by Martin Le Henand, is a free cartoon display font with an unruly, hand-cut appearance. Its broad black shapes shift between blunt curves and sharp wedges, and the uneven widths make the lettering look deliberately improvised.

That rough comic-book character is well suited to action-oriented posters and entertainment graphics. The exaggerated silhouette can give music merchandise and youth event branding the directness of a quickly painted sign, with each letter contributing a slightly different shape. It also fits playful food packaging and casual venue signage, where the irregular construction can become part of the overall illustration.
