Durendal & Oliphant, by Tup Wanders, is a free modern Gothic caps font with a hard-edged, heraldic presence. The letters fuse blackletter drama with tall, blocky silhouettes, using sharp diagonals and clipped joins to create a tense rhythm that feels both medieval and newly cut.
It fits branding for dark fashion, metal and fantasy posters, game title cards, book covers, and event graphics where a short line needs weight and ceremony. As a free font, it is especially suited to monograms, logo words, and cover lines, because the caps lock together into bold, banner-like shapes rather than sitting quietly on the page.
