Author's note

DV-TTSurekh Italic by C-DAC, is a free Devanagari display font with a strong forward slant and broad, dark strokes. Its letters have generous rounded forms, sharp tapered turns, and a lively sequence of hanging shapes beneath the continuous headline, producing dense texture without losing the script's open interior spaces.

Designers addressing Hindi- and Marathi-reading audiences can use its energetic weight for festival posters, music artwork, cultural event graphics, and regional product packaging. In publishing, it gives feature titles a distinctly animated Devanagari voice.
