Author's note

Dwemer by Neale Davidson is a free runic display font with broad, angular signs and long sweeping curves. Its open shapes, sharp wedges, and uneven stroke widths give the alphabet the look of carved marks adapted into futuristic symbols.

The signs can become part of maps and mechanical diagrams, not just labels beside them. That makes the font useful for game interfaces, fantasy publishing, and science-fiction posters. It best suits designers creating imagined cultures, coded artifacts, or otherworldly technology.

--

Dwemer is the written script of the Deep Elves in Bethesda Softworks’ The Elder Scrolls series of role-playing games.

It includes all canon characters and regular, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles.
