Ekushey Ananta, developed by Al Mamun Sumon for the Ekushey Font Development Project, is a free Bangla serif font with a sturdy, informal profile. Its connected headline feels firm, and rounded lower forms mix blunt corners with compact curves. The weight is dark but not rigid.
Literary publishing and cultural posters draw on its grounded Bengali texture in very different settings. It is strongest on book covers, though event graphics can use the same expressive, locally rooted voice.
