Author's note
Ekushey Puja is a free old-style serif with a literary, Bengali-publishing flavor. The letters pair strong contrast with crisp, slightly formal serifs, while the rounded lowercase keeps the texture warmer and less severe than a textbook Roman.
It feels at home in cultural posters, book covers, magazine cover lines, festival programs, and editorial title pages, where a free font with this mix of ceremony and softness can carry a headline without turning stiff. It also suits short pull quotes or drop caps, because the sharp serif rhythm gives even a few letters a distinctly printed, page-minded presence.
