Elgethy Bold Oblique, designed by Graham Meade, is a free oblique sans serif with slim strokes and an unusually airy build. Its rounded lowercase forms lean forward at a brisk angle, with long straight strokes giving the lettering a clean technical edge, and open proportions keeping its silhouette crisp and light throughout the design. The looping descender adds a softer handwritten note.
Technology and futuristic subjects are the clearest match, especially for software branding, electronic music artwork, and science event posters. Its spare slanted shapes could also suit sports merchandise and magazine covers for audiences drawn to sleek, unconventional typography.
