Ernst, designed by Michael Schinköthe of Greatmade, is a free graffiti display font with a rough, cut-paper silhouette and forceful, uneven strokes. Its jagged edges and lopsided forms keep every letter restless.
Streetwear labels, skate shops, and independent music venues can use its blunt shapes to build an identity that feels handmade and unruly. The distorted construction also suits gig posters and album packaging, especially when the lettering needs to echo torn flyers, marker tags, or improvised signage. It is most convincing in music branding, where the irregular letter widths and abrupt cuts can become part of the artwork rather than a neutral caption.
