ESRI Cartography by ESRI, Inc. is a free cartographic dingbat font built from crisp map symbols. Its signs use geometric outlines, concentric circles, directional marks, and radiating strokes. The forms are direct and diagrammatic, with enough variation to distinguish locations or features.
Mapping is its clearest role, especially for thematic maps and geographic reports. It also suits wayfinding graphics. The target-like circles and angular signs can become keys in educational atlases or field manuals.
