Author's note

Etched in a Desk by No where man is a free scratch-written display font with the restless look of marks cut by hand. Thin, uneven strokes keep the lettering raw and visibly handmade.

The school-desk graffiti style suits youth event posters, rebellious music packaging, and editorial features about underground culture because the loose shapes resemble quick personal notes rather than typeset lettering. On merchandise and game graphics, the scratched lines can become part of a doodled surface, so hand-drawn arrows, marginal notes, and rough illustrations share the same rough, improvised marks.
