Ethiopic Tint, from the Senamirmir Project, is a free serif text font with a calm, literary tone. The letters pair crisp right-angled serifs with a slightly spare, upright rhythm, so the font feels formal without turning stiff.
It fits editorial layouts, cultural posters, book jackets, museum leaflets, and academic title pages where a measured voice matters more than flourish. As a free font, it also works well for short headings, pull quotes, and opening lines, because those lean serifs and open shapes keep the texture steady while still giving the page a distinct, old-book character.
