Ethiopic WashRa Bold, by the Senamirmir Project, is a free serif font with a sober, print-rooted voice. The letters mix blocky, almost slab-like tops with rounded bowls and compact joins, giving the font a sturdy rhythm that feels closer to old newspaper titling or textbook headings than to polished modern branding.
It fits editorial headers, cultural posters, book covers, archival-themed graphics, and title cards where that firm, slightly utilitarian texture helps set the tone. As a free font, it also works well for short pull quotes and section openers, because the broad serifs and simple curves keep the lettering feeling grounded rather than ornamental.
