Ethiopic Wookianos, from the Senamirmir Project, is a free serif font with a calm, old-style print feel. The letters pair sturdy horizontal serifs with narrow, open forms, giving it a measured rhythm that feels bookish rather than ornamental.
It fits editorial mastheads, cultural posters, book covers, museum graphics, and title cards where you want a restrained historical tone without going fully antique.
