Author's note

Exoskeleton by Andrew McCluskey is a free groovy display font with massive geometric forms and a sharp sense of 1970s experimentation. Broad shapes meet slim strokes, circular cutouts, and abrupt right angles, so each letter feels like a small optical puzzle. The silhouettes change dramatically from character to character.

Posters are its strongest setting, especially for gallery shows and experimental music events with a playful retro direction. Album packaging and fashion merchandise can use the repeating circles and arches as lettering and as part of a broader pattern. In editorial design, those striking shapes suit feature openers about architecture, art, or experimental culture.
