Author's note

Experiment Butterfly, created by Weknow in 2012, is a free comic-inspired distorted display font with a wonderfully unruly, theatrical silhouette. Its towering letters swell into dark teardrops and narrow to hairline curves, with pinched joins and sudden bends that make the alphabet seem stretched, soft, and slightly surreal throughout.

Psychedelic music and dreamlike stories are its most convincing territory. The warped shapes suit album artwork, poster titles, comic covers, and experimental fashion branding, since each application can treat the lettering as part of the illustration rather than a neutral caption.
