Author's note

Faculty font by Graphicxell is a free display typeface with a bold, carved-from-ink look that grabs attention instantly. Its chunky verticals, squeezed counters, and quirky width changes create a punchy rhythm that feels both rebellious and controlled, like protest posters taped to a brick wall. Letters look slightly warped in a deliberate way, giving headlines a loud, offbeat personality that still reads clearly from a distance.

Using Faculty, this free font shines on gig posters, editorial covers, zines, streetwear branding, bold packaging, event flyers, and social media graphics that need a strong visual hook. Set it large to let those dense black shapes really breathe, and pair it with a clean, neutral sans-serif for body copy so the heavy letterforms stay in the spotlight.
