Author's note

Fake Hope Book, by Vladimir Nikolic, is a free seven-segment display font with a brisk digital-clock attitude. The letters are built from clipped geometric strokes and sharp joins, so the rhythm feels mechanical but not cold, with enough variation to keep repeated forms from turning flat.

It fits naturally in tech posters, arcade-inspired branding, music cover lines, title cards, and UI-flavored editorial headers where a free font can echo screens, timers, and scoreboards without slipping into pure novelty. Because the shapes break into clear segments, it also works well for short labels, date stamps, and compact logos that want a coded, synthetic edge.
