Author's note

Fanfarone Bold by Ewen Prigent is a free quirky Roman display font with tall caps, sharp flared serifs, and a slightly hand-cut rhythm. The letters feel theatrical and old-world rather than formal, with narrow proportions and little twists at the ends that give the font a poster-era, almost storybook voice.

It works well for packaging, cafe signage, book covers, festival posters, and title cards where a free font needs some period flavor without turning ornate. Because the caps are tall and a bit eccentric, it also suits short headlines, monograms, and cover lines that need a strong vertical silhouette and a touch of stage drama.
