Author's note

Fanfarone by Ewen Prigent is a free Roman inscription display font with the swagger of carved theater lettering. The letters are tall, sharply serifed, and slightly irregular, mixing classical proportions with a handmade pulse that keeps the style from feeling too formal or museum-bound.

It fits posters, book covers, wine labels, title cards, and boutique branding where a bit of old-world ceremony helps set the tone. As a free font, it also works well for short headlines, monograms, and drop caps, because those dramatic verticals and tapering strokes give even a few letters plenty of presence.
