Fans, designed by House of Lime in 2001, is a free fan-themed dingbat font built from ornate illustrated symbols rather than conventional letters. The collection centers on folding fans, with floral scrollwork, radiating ribs, lace-like textures, and a period portrait drawn from antique print ornament.
Designers working on costume history, museum publishing, or vintage entertainment can use these pictures in event invitations, editorial features, theater posters, and decorative packaging. The repeated fan shape also makes a ready-made emblem for dance and fashion projects.
