FDStrippedforBUP Semi-expanded Bold, designed by Felipe Dario, is a free striped display font defined by repeated diagonal bars and broad, open proportions. Its broad letter shapes are interrupted by clean gaps, making each form look cut apart and reassembled through a strict geometric system. The consistent angle sends a strong directional pulse across the lettering.
Optical patterns and motion are its most natural subjects. That makes it convincing for electronic music posters, club event graphics, streetwear merchandise, and album covers, where the diagonal cuts can extend into borders or background patterns and turn the lettering into part of the artwork.
