FFMt-Bk, designed by Erik Spiekermann, is a free modern sans serif with clean, upright strokes and compact proportions. Its broad capitals have geometric shapes, and the lowercase t adds a brisk, practical note. The lettering feels controlled rather than rigid.
It can give a technical brand or product label a crisp, no-nonsense voice. That direct construction also suits transport signage and information graphics, where the plain forms support an orderly system. Editorial headings and corporate presentations are natural settings.
