Fipps, designed by Stefanie Koerner of pheist, is a free pixel font with the blunt, oversized impact of an early computer title screen. Its broad letters sit tightly together, combining dense strokes with sharply cut interior gaps and unexpectedly compact curves.
It can turn lettering into an interface-like banner, making it especially apt for retro game menus and electronic music event graphics. The same forceful silhouette suits technology branding and merchandise inspired by low-resolution screen culture.
