FiveXFive by Noel Goetowski of FontStruct is a free pixel font built from square modules, hard right angles, and open gaps, with the blunt economy of an early computer display. Stepped diagonals keep the rigid grid lively.
As an electronic display element, it can turn game interfaces, tech branding, event graphics, and music visuals into part of a deliberately blocky digital world. In editorial design, the same modular forms suit magazine section headings and feature openers about coding, retro games, or digital culture.
